New site!

So, in lieu of continuing my reading of Andreas Malm’s Fossil Capital (a work which I foresee becoming of central importance to my MA dissertation as time goes by, especially if his essay in Forum for Modern Language Studies is anything to go by) I decided to spend a few hours migrating my site to Cargo2. This was primarily because of certain quality of life implementations made between it and the first iteration of Cargo—which I began using in 2010!—meaning that maintaining a website and crafting a certain look on the platform becomes progressively more pain-free.

Additionally, after deciding to remove myself entirely from the major social networking websites, the ability to (finally) update a blog without resorting to plugins or widgets and also have a section devoted to sharing the photographs which I make in my free time were the icing on the cake.

I’ll be disseminating updates on my academic research and ongoing work through this part of the site, so keep your eyes peeled. I hope you enjoy the new look!
